Gareth James

CEO & Founder

As a seasoned CEO, Gareth possesses a robust track record of leadership across senior positions within retail, financial services, and media sectors. His professional journey reflects a blend of entrepreneurial acumen, extensive business expertise, and technology leadership. Fluent in both the languages of "developer" and "CEO," he is proficient in coding and adept at leading the board. Whilst steering strategic initiatives alongside the board to fulfill the company's aspirations, he remains actively engaged in coding pursuits. His experience spans the spectrum from startups to established entities, including overseeing IPOs totaling £9 billion in valuation within the FTSE.

Giles Graves

General counsel

Giles qualified as a lawyer in 2005 and has spent his career working with prominent Family Offices and entrepreneurs around the world. He has provided consultancy and advice on a wide range of issues for many clients and has experience of historic families and first generation entrepreneurs. Since 2023 Giles has been working in partnership with serial entrepreneur Gareth James, developing rapidly expanding tech companies. Gareth was one of the team who founded moneysupermarket.com, a UK financial services website which IPO’d in 2007 for circa £2 billion. The financial term ‘Unicorn’ had not been invented but at the time it was the largest IPO valuation since Google.

Glen Richardson

Glen, is an influential force in the retail industry, he has an extensive 25 years of experience in the digital space, including 10 years in tech start-ups and 10 years serving in C-suite positions at leading UK retailers. He has contributed his expertise to prestigious retail powerhouses such as COO at The Range, CTO at Fruugo and CMO at Ideal Shopping Direct. Glen is currently the Managing Partner at Exceedly and non-exec at The Nearly Naked Veg Co, Chefs For Foodies & GoCraft.

Kieran Clinton-Tarestad

Kieran has 15+ years experience in digital business, including marketing director at Klarna and COO at Sneakersnstuff. He is currently the interim Chief Commercial Officer at CAIA cosmetics whilst serving on the advisory board for Flockr. Having led digital transformation at GANT along with digital agency experience with some of the top UK high-street fashion brands such as REISS and Ted Baker. He is both a qualified chartered accountant and holds a degree in software engineering. He is a board member at FOREX, board member and investor in ATP Atelier.

Steve Sweeney

Steve is Specialist consultant and Bain external advisor with 15+ years in financial services digital distribution specialising in price comparison websites and the creation of strategic partnerships with insurers for future growth. He is a consultant advisor to Esure Group and Ratehub Canada. Steve is also a Pathway Board Member Greater Manchester Cancer and Data Trust Committee for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. With 8+ years at MoneySuperMarket including General Manager Insurance (Motor and Home), General Manager Marketing and heading up Business Development and New Ventures. He also spent 10+ years in FMCG Buying and Marketing at Iceland Foods.

Jon Crossic

With over 25 years of experience in the consumer and retail space, Jon is the owner of Cross Consult, a boutique consultancy that covers all aspects of both B2B and B2C models. He has an extensive background in premium and luxury retail, including: - Managing Director of Thomas Sabo, one of the leading premium jewellery brands in the UK and Ireland, driving growth across retail, wholesale and digital channels. Retail Director of Case London, a leading retailer of premium and luxury branded travel goods, with locations include Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and Bluewater. Jon is currently consulting with a number of brands, retailers and digital service providers. – across FMCG, premium and luxury sectors.
