E-Bikeshop

E-Bikshop, founded in 2008 by Martin Brown, is, at heart, comprised of experienced cycle enthusiasts. Its roots are in traditional cycles, starting out with cycle shops in the South of England, quickly expanding into a specialist eBike sales & distribution centre. Electric bikes are lived, breathed, and ridden every day. It is what is done. The experience has grown over many years to become the largest eBike specific supplier in Europe.

The challenge

E-Bikeshop have recently invested in a new ecommerce website that is both highly aesthetic and very functional. The challenge was to enhance the user experience with Flockr messages that seamlessly integrated into the brand whilst remaining transparent, trustworthy and useful.

Flockr worked with E-Bikeshop and their agency Strawberry to produce a user experience that delivered custom shapes, placements and messages that aligned perfectly with the brand.

The solution

The results

The AB test of the on-brand messages added to the Product Listing, Product Details, Basket Page, Recommendations and Search Results was run for 14 days from the 1st of May using Google Optimize.

This independent test reported a 13% increase in conversion rate and a 22% increase in revenue.

Following the success of this test, the messages have been rolled out to all customers with further enhancements planned over the coming months as part of the fully managed Flockr service.
