How to add and configure the Flockr shopify app

Step 1: Install link.

Your Flockr Customer Success Manager will provide you with an app install link, please click this link to begin installing and configuring the Flockr Shopify app.

It will look like the following: -

https://admin.shopify.com/oauth/install_custom_app?client_id=XXXXXXX&no_redirect=true&signature=XXXXXXXXX

Step 2: Select the store to install the Flockr app.

Select the store from the list of available stores from your Shopify account.

Step 3: Accept permissions.

The Flockr Shopify app requires access to your store to function, click the Install button to install the Flockr app.

Step 4: How to configure checkout messaging.

Once you have installed the app from the previous steps, go to your store in Shopify and click Customize.

Step 5: Navigate to Checkout design.

Select Checkout and customer accounts from the pages drop down

Step 6: Choose a section for the Flockr messages to be displayed.

Select a section from the left hand navigation for the Flockr message (app) to be added, such as in the "Order Summary" section , click "Add app block" - you can always move message within the section or to another section after adding.

Step 7: Click on the Flockr app.

Step 8: Enter the required settings.

Add the client ID and website host settings, these will be provided by your Customer Success Manager. Then click Save (top right)

Step 9: Reload.

Reload the page (refresh) to see the Flockr messages added to the checkout page.

In the Shopify editor, the Flockr message may show a default message and icon.

Step 10: Move the Flockr messages to the location of your choice.

Mover over the Flockr icon on the app in the section, then click to drag it to your desired location/section

After dragging the app to a new location, the checout page is updated to show you how it will look.

Don't forget to click Save.
