What is the Demand Portal?

The Demand Portal is the web app where Flockr customers see what the platform knows about their store and what it is doing for them. It covers live activity, demand state, attribution, signal performance and pipeline observability in one place.

What can you see in the Demand Portal?

The live demand feed of events as they happen; the demand state of individual products and the catalogue as a whole; which messages are being shown and how they are performing; the attribution view of incremental orders and revenue; and the pipeline itself — what the engine is selecting and why.

Why does observability matter?

Because a system that makes live decisions on every page should be able to show its working. The portal makes the platform legible: a merchandiser can see not just what is being shown to shoppers, but the demand state and signals behind each decision. It turns a black box into something inspectable.

How is the Demand Portal different from analytics dashboards?

A typical dashboard reports historical metrics. The portal does that too, but it is also live and operational — the demand feed updates in real time, and the same data that drives messaging is what is on screen. It is a window onto the running system, not a summary produced after the fact.
